I’m not an insider, but the eyeball test tells me it’s weight.

The dude is probably the biggest 125 in the country and likely larger than most 133 guys. He’s a team guy through and through. Myers coming back was s blessing but left Sam only one real choice and that was a big cut to 125. I imagine back to back weigh ins are brutal for him.
